MIRACLE MAKER 2002

Ike "Red" Enns qualified his P-51D Miracle Maker on Wednesday at 376.806 mph. This
put him in Thursday´s Bronce-heat, which he finished in 4th place at 346.687 mph.
On Friday Ike won his heat-race although he was penalized with 12 additional seconds
for cutting 2 pylons. So Race#50 went up to Silver. On Saturday he slowed down a little
and kept 8th place in his race. In Sunday´s Silver-final with its bad weather-conditions
Ike let the others pass him and flew to a save last place. Flown in that sensible way
we´re looking forward to see Ike and his beautiful stock-looking Mustang turn the pylons
again in hopefully many years to come.
